2011-12 Program Objectives
- Standards Mastery. On average, PartnersSI schools implementing our School Transformation Approach will achieve substantial growth -- a minimum of 5 or more points -- in the percentage of students reading proficiently as measured by the 2012 California Standards Test in English Language Arts (CST-ELA). Our ultimate goal is for our schools to achieve double-digit growth. By comparison, the average year-to-year growth in California has been 2.5 percentage points over the past five years.
- Accelerated Achievement in Targeted Sub-Groups. African American, Latino and English Learner students in PartnersSI schools will outperform the growth of their peers statewide on the 2012 CST-ELA by 3 percentage points.
- Increased School Transformation Capacity. PartnersSI schools will make demonstrable improvements in their transformational capacity within the areas of results-oriented leadership, systems for teacher professional learning and a strong core instructional program as measured by PartnersSI's School Transformation Rubric. On average, the gap in capacity between where PartnersSI schools start the school year and where they need to be to be truly transformative will be reduced by approximately one-third.
- Program Implementation. PartnersSI uses checklists to track our implementation of key elements in the program to ensure all our schools and districts are receiving consistent and high quality services. Our objective is for at least 90% of our program elements to be executed by the end of the school year.
- Increased District Capacity to Support and Sustain Transformation. PartnersSI districts will increase their capacity to think with a ROCI mindset.
- Design, Market and Deliver Discrete Services. PartnersSI will contribute to the transformation of a broader range of schools and districts by offering a more flexible menu of services to new schools and districts.
