FUNDER SPOTLIGHT: THE KABCENELL FOUNDATION
The Dirk and Charlene Kabcenell Foundation Awards $100,000
to Partners in School Innovation
PartnersSI is thrilled to continue our English Language Development
Initiative this year with a new major partner and investor, the
Dirk and Charlene Kabcenell Foundation. With the generous support
of a $100,000 grant, PartnersSI's research and development work
around high quality education for English Learners in the Bay
Area will inform and deepen the implementation of effective practices
for English Learners in our districts and schools. As a part of
its education program, the Kabcenell Foundation is deeply committed
to providing disadvantaged students and English Learners an equal
opportunity to a solid education.
