Jill Colley

Senior Improvement Partner

Prior to coming to Partners and Philadelphia, Jill spent 17 years teaching and leading in middle and high schools in Boston.

Most recently she worked as an academic coach for the UP Education Network, coaching a team of assistant principals in five turnaround middle schools.

Before that she was a dean of instruction, a dean of students, and an instructional coach in charter-public, traditional-public, and non-profit contexts.

Ten years of teaching middle and high school ELA laid the foundation for a lifelong love of teachers and a deep desire to help schools grow into places students deserve.

Jill has a B.A. in English and writing from Loyola University in Maryland and an M.Ed. in educational leadership from Boston College.

Outside of work, Jill loves sports, reading, cooking (and eating!), traveling, and spending time outdoors.
