Sanee Ibrahim Nashashibi
Sanee’s commitment to educational equity began when she joined Teach for America as a 2005 corps member in San Jose’s Alum Rock Union School District. She joins Partners with seven years of teaching experience, three at the elementary school level and four years as a middle school teacher. Aside from leading her students to make significant gains in reading, Sanee served as a leader delivering professional development at her school site, and in 2012, she was recognized as one of the recipients of TFA’s Alumni Awards for Excellence in Teaching. She received her B.A in psychology from the University of Wisconsin, and an M.A in Education, and an M.A in Educational Leadership from San Jose State University with a preliminary administrative credential. When not working, Sanee loves to do yoga, explore the beauty of the Bay Area, and travel to the midwest to spend time with her family and friends.
